Interface EventPointer

public interface EventPointer

A pointer to an event. This can be used to retrieve a previously read event by calling EventStreamReader.fetchEvent(EventPointer)

Returns:

A binary representation of the event pointer.

fromBytes

Deserializes the event pointer from its serialized from obtained from calling toBytes().

Parameters:

eventPointer - A serialized event pointer.

Returns:

The event pointer object.
