A pointer to an event. This can be used to retrieve a previously read event by calling EventStreamReader.fetchEvent(EventPointer)

    Deserializes the event pointer from its serialized from obtained from calling toBytes().
    
    Parameters:
    
    eventPointer - A serialized event pointer.
